Bio Farm Solutions Midlands cc. started as a small family-owned enterprise in 2011 on a farm outside of Somerset East.

During the last thirteen years, we have grown from this small start-up to a medium-sized plant nutrition and fertiliser company.

Our Factory is situated in the Industrial Area of Jan Kempdorp in the Northern Cape, from where we offer products and services to farmers in a radius of 300 Km around Jan Kempdorp, including farmers in the Vaalharts Irrigation Scheme, the south western parts of the North West Province, northern parts of the Free State, and north eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

We import and/or buy our raw materials from other importers and transport these materials from the harbours, to the factory situated in Jan Kempdorp. Almost all materials are received in bulk format.

Our current operations entail two factories, one for dry materials and one for liquid materials. Our latest addition to a modernised mixing plant is a CNC-controlled, five-hopper, automated dry material mixing processor. This plant gives us the advantage of mixing specific soil and plant nutrient mixtures, according to the individual farmers' needs. We call these, prescription mixtures. We can therefore guarantee our clients that our mixed products are of very high accuracy and consistency.
